A hot basketball club faced a team called the Knicks ... and lost. How's that for a twist ending!

The Canton Charge came into the Westchester Civic Center having won 12 games in a row, but everyone knows how tough it can be to win in the Westchester Civic Center. This matchup was a taut, back-and-forth affair, but in the end the W-Knicks emerged with a 115-112 victory.

Jordon Crawford led the Dubbity-Knicks in scoring with 24 points, but this was a team effort. Thanasis Antetokounmpo (23 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal, 1 block), Travis Trice (16 points, 14 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals) and Jordan Bachynski (11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks) put in their usual tremendous all-around efforts, and all five Westchester starters ended up scoring up in double figures.

The boys of Westchester are one game behind the Maine Red Claws for first place in the Atlantic Division, fourth overall in the Eastern Conference. They are currently holding on to the final playoff spot in the East, if my understanding of  D-League playoff formats is correct.

Knicks in the playoffs? Crazy.
