Now that was a beating.
The New York Knicks beat the ever-loving crap out of the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night. The 'Bockers jumped out the a 20-point halftime lead, only to watch Phoenix cut it to 13 thanks to the standard third-quarter malaise. But Derrick Williams just kept on dunking all over the young Suns in the fourth quarter until they rolled over like a whipped dog. Final score: Knicks 128, Suns 97.
You'd be surprised how fun basketball can be when you shoot 16-24 from beyond the arc, as New York did on this night. Six, count 'em, six of those threes came from Sasha Vujacic, who started in place of the injured Arron Afflalo:
Clearly Kurt Rambis is a genius and we are all morons.
Jerian Grant played damn near 28 minutes and had a swell time:
Standard Kristaps Porzingis highlight!
Stingy has the recap. This was enjoyable.
