Kristaps Porzingis has missed the last few games with a shoulder issue, and with only three games left in the season, time is running out for a return to action. The rookie unicorn definitely will not play Friday night, and it appears doubtful that he will return at all in 2015-16. Per Ian Begley:
On Kristaps Porzingis' shoulder injury, the rookie says no one on the Knicks' medical staff has mentioned that he may have any tear in his shoulder or that there may be any need for surgery. "It's just a little strain or contusion, whatever it is. That's why I guess it's taking a while to heal," he said. Porzingis will miss his fifth straight game tonight and it seems unlikely that he returns this season. The rookie hopes to play Sunday but he hasn't started shooting yet. "I'm feeling better every day but we don't want to rush anything," he says.
I would happily trade these three games for the promise of no long-term damage to that shoulder.
Thankfully, no harm has come to his magnificent singing voice:

"I sang my heart out. That's what I do. I give everything -- singing, basketball, you know?" You're still the best, Kristaps.
