The annual White House Correspondents' Dinner is known is certain circles as "nerd prom." It is only right, then, that Saturday night's affair be attended by the ultimate nerd, Ninja Turtles fashion designer (and occasional basketball player) Carmelo Anthony.

Nice bowtie, nerdlinger! Melo has ties to the Obama administration -- he was a major fundraiser for the Obama campaign in 2012, which prompted certain media outlets to rehash his long-ago appearance in the background of a "Stop Snitchin'" video and label him "pro-drugs" and an "anti-police activist." Ah, politics.
