Hey, here's a good thing to do:
The Knicks will have a 'mini-camp' for veteran free agents in early June, per sources. Likely looking for end-of-roster/Summer League types.

You obviously don't need to work out, like, Kevin Durant if you're trying to sign him (NOTE: THIS INDIVIDUAL WAS USED AS AN EXTREME EXAMPLE, NOT A REALISTIC ONE), but for guys who didn't play last season and D-Leaguers and whatnot, this is a solid pre-Summer-League* idea. In the past, the Knicks have waited until much later in the summer to bring in these sorts of folks.
Hopefully New York has a coach by this point!
*Orlando, not Las Vegas:
NBA releases teams playing in Las Vegas Summer League. Knicks are passing, and doing Orlando summer league instead.
