The nation of Greece invented the Olympic Games, so it is only fitting that they recently created a sporting event so glorious, it makes the 2016 Rio Olympics look like two drunk townies fighting over the last 30-pack of Coors Light. A streetball tournament is being held throughout the various Greek city-states, pitting Thanasis Antetokounmpo against his brother, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Oh, and in case that matchup isn't titanic enough for you, the brothers split the first two contests and Thanasis has called in some backup for the third and deciding game.
Athens hasn't been involved in a battle of this magnitude since Alcibiades and Lysander duked it out in the Peloponnesian War!
Kristaps has long been a supporter of Thanasis's basketball career. He was one of the first to congratulate the other Greek Freak after making his NBA debut in January:
Good team win tonight! Congrats to my bro @Thanasis_ante43 ! Happy for you! #LetsKeepBuilding #Stouthearted pic.twitter.com/bwkQOsasPP

I wish with every fiber of my being that Thanasis were good enough to earn a spot with Kristaps in the Knicks. Alas, this is probably the next best thing. Go out there and stomp Giannis's Buck ass!
