This Saturday June 11th at 10:00 AM, you should make your way over to 147th Street between Rockaway Boulevard and 123rd Ave. Get your old Anthony Mason jersey out and your favorite Knicks pin, all your blue and orange accents and get ready to catch what should be a pretty memorable gathering. It's without question what Toney Douglas would do.

When we first heard about the Anthony Mason Way, we found that a certain council member looked like and had a name that was stupefyingly similar to a certain member of the Knicks' brass section. There is still no evidence that proves they are different people. There is a slim chance that this is the day where we find out if Queens Councilman for the 28th district Ruben Wills and Knicks General Manager Steve Mills are indeed different people.
Whether that happens or not, Councilman Wills and the Mason family will be on hand leading a ceremony to unveil Anthony Mason Way to the public. It's an exciting day in honor of a New York legend. Many thanks to all that brought this vision to life. We here at Posting and Toasting truly miss you, big fella.
