Teamwork!

With the NBA Draft rapidly approaching, Knicks fans were hoping Phil Jackson would find a head coach quickly. The team might not have any picks, but there are still prospects to be worked out, and the coach and management need to be on the same page.

Well our prayers have been answered, folks, as new head coach Jeff Hornacek got together with Jackson to work out a few prospects on Thursday, per Adam Zagoria:

One day before he is to be introduced at a press conference on Friday, Hornacek -- with Jackson -- worked out former Iona guard A.J. English, former Wichita State guard Ron Baker, former Kansas guard Brannen Greene and former Texas A&M guard Danuel House.

A coach and a president working together, scouting prospects ... wow, the Knicks are normal again! Previously it had been former interim coach Kurt Rambis strolling around the Chicago draft combine, checking out college players and scaring the crap out of the New York faithful. It's nice to see Hornacek getting his hands dirty even before his introductory press conference.

Ah, but this is still the Knicks, so of course there is another news nugget to drive fans crazy:

TRIANGLE ALERT!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Does this mean anything? Probably not. On the other hand ...
