The Knicks worked out several former NBA players in a free agent minicamp

Maybe you'll see one of them in Summer League!

The stars came out on Wednesday for Knicks free agent camp ... and by "stars" I mean some former NBA players you may have heard of. Alex Kennedy breaks down the most recognizable names:

That's Anthony Bennett, Royce White, Pierre Jackson, Arnett Moultrie and Ognjen Kuzmic -- a fairly intriguing mix of players, at least as far as these sorts of camps go. The Knicks are looking for dudes to fill out their Summer League squad, maybe even earn a training camp invite.

Jackson dominated the D-League and looked set the earn a spot on an NBA roster before rupturing his Achilles in Summer League action in 2014. Kuzmic has that championship experience, having sat on the bench through much of Golden State's 2014-15 title run. Moultrie had some nice minutes with the Sixers back in 2012-13.

And then there's Bennett, whose story is familiar to us all.

Impressive for Anthony Bennett, or impressive for an actual NBA basketball player? The guy seems like a natural fit for Brooklyn, who is just sort of throwing things at the wall to see what sticks (as they should).

Royce White, a versatile forward who is far more famous at this point for his outspokenness on the league's treatment of mental health issues than playing basketball, had nothing but good things to say about his experience at camp:

Kurt Rambis was heavily involved in running the workouts, per Ian Begley, so he's officially back in action.

Hey, if any one of these guys wants to come to Summer League, that's alright by me.
