This week in Knicks social media: Mindaugas Kuzminskas reminds us he isn't from the USSR

Plus: terrifying caricatures and an intensive search for Latvian hip hop stations.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas wasn't exactly well-known among NBA experts prior to his signing with the New York Knicks. One thing was certain, however: He was not a citizen of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That country no longer exists.

Unfortunately, somebody forgot to inform the Knicks' official website. So Kuzminskas took it upon himself to update his new organization:

";)" indeed, Big Kuz! It's nice to see the guy has a sense of humor, as well as a love of caricatures.

Another Knick who descends from a former SSR, Kristaps Porzingis, paid respects to retiring legend Tim Duncan:

He also asked his followers for help find a good Latvian hip hop radio station:

People gave him a few suggestions. I hope you're good now, Kristaps!

Sasha Vujacic retweeted this, because the dude knows what's up:

Brandon Jennings posted some workout footage with Carmelo Anthony because he too knows what's up:

Chemistry @carmeloanthony @brandonjennings // Big thanks to @C2yates2 for the gym

Fear not, Justin Holiday: Serena did in fact win:

Finally, I already posted this photo, but nobody's gonna stop me from posting it again!

Go Knicks!
