This seemingly has been fated to happen since New York passed over the point guard in the 2009 draft. Jennings ruptured his Achilles in 2014-15 and came back for 48 games last season, splitting time between Detroit and Orlando. Achilles injuries are always terrifying, but Jennings will be 27 years old next season and nearly two full years removed from surgery. This is a damn steal of a contract, folks.
