The New York Knicks of Summer were felled by Orlando Magic White squad in a surprisingly explosive offensive battle, 95-90. Some benevolent YouTube wizard put up a highlight package:
The first half was the Chasson Randle show. The greatest Knicks guard in Summer League history (sorry, Nate Robinson) scored 13 of his 17 points before halftime:
Randle may have cooled down in the second half, but he was picked up by Ron Baker. Our man Ron finished with 22 points (8-15 shooting, 4-9 from three), 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.
Baker may have scored more points, but that Randle jumper looks wet as hell. The kid can handle the rock, too. I love Chasson Randle.
The Knicks will play their final Summer League game on Friday, at a time yet to be announced. Poor Cleanthony Early probably won't even get a minute of action. That kid has the worst luck in the world.
Until Friday, good chums: Keep on Chasson the dream!
