It’s official: Carmelo Anthony is the greatest scorer in the history of USA Olympic basketball.

The Knicks forward passed LeBron James with 276 points all-time in Olympic play. He set the new mark on a three-pointer in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against Australia. He came into the game needing 12 points to pass LeBron and he got 14 point in less than one quarter of play.

Melo is good at scoring, is what I’m saying.

Congratulations, Carmelo Anthony! You’re a tribute to your country and your Knickerbockers
