The New York Knicks released their official preseason schedule on Thursday afternoon and I am officially so pumped up that I can no longer feel my face. Are you ready for preseason basketball??? Hell yes, you are! WE ALL ARE! WOOOOOOOO!

The Knicks begin their preseason slate in Houston, which seems like an odd matchup — usually they keep things a little closer to home. But I can see the logic. Houston re-signed Pablo Prigioni this summer, and the Knicks will make a pilgrimage to his arena to seek his blessing for the 2016-17 campaign. Hopefully Pablo will lay his hand upon Derrick Rose and transform him into the point guard we all need him to be.
As for the other games, there are no big surprises: Brooklyn, Boston and Washington are typical preseason opponents. Are those teams ready for the likes of Chasson Randle, Ron Baker and Maurice Ndour? Probably not.
I can’t wait for October.
