Tuesday marked the 21st anniversary of the seminal moment in human history: the birth of Kristaps Porzingis. It's a solemn occasion, and Kristaps deserves to be honored in whichever way you think best.
The Knicks made a confetti-laden Twitter post:
RT to wish @kporzee a happy birthday! #Knicks pic.twitter.com/sSounpgHxh
— NEW YORK KNICKS (@nyknicks) August 2, 2016
It was retweeted by teammate and good buddy Willy Hernangomez, who clearly knows what's up.
Elsewhere on the Interwebs, Tommy Beer put together a nice tribute:
21 years ago today, likely in a manger somewhere in Latvia, a unicorn was born...

In Hollywood, actress and (presumable) Porzingis fan Margot Robbie paid tribute by wearing a stunning unicorn dress to the premiere of her latest film, Suicide Squad:
Nice of Margot Robbie to celebrate Kristaps Porzingis' birthday with her dress. https://t.co/9NF7dgeJU5

As for this reporter, the celebration of Kristaps's birthday was an intensely personal, emotional affair. I awoke at dawn, and spent hours meditating on what it means to keep calm like Kristaps Porzingis.
Then I watched this defensive highlight package and cried my eyes out:
Then I watched these offensive highlight videos and cried some more:
Then I took a nap, exhausted from all the crying. Then I woke up and had a chicken cheese steak.
How about you, dear readers? How did you celebrate Kristaps's birthday. Let us know in the comments.
