Twelve years ago a wide-eyed youngster in cornrows stood despondent on the medal stand as Team USA limped away from Athens with a bronze medal. Now Carmelo Anthony is the veteran leader of a squad on the cusp of its third consecutive gold medal. Larry Brown sucks.

Standing in America’s way is Serbia, a team that very nearly took them to overtime during pool play. They are led by Nikola Jokic, a big man everyone now says is superior to Kristaps Porzingis and that freakin’ pisses me off! Please destroy them, Melo.
