Carmelo Anthony, Team USA's all-time leader in points and games played, had one more record to break in what will probably be his final game as an Olympian. He broke David Robinson's mark of 124 rebounds with his seventh and final board in America's 96-66 victory.
Head coach Mike Krzyzewski put Melo back in during the final minutes so he could grab that one last board. As he pulled it down his USA teammates erupted from the bench, even though the announcers didn't seem to know what was happening. It took a few minutes for the news to trickle in.
Whatever, man. Melo has all the rebounds and all the gold medals. He is the best.
