Here we go, folks. The 2016-17 New York Knicks season is almost officially underway, with the somewhat traditional pre-Media Day press conference involving president Phil Jackson, GM Steve Mills and new head coach Jeff Hornacek:
For #Knicks fans Phil Jackson, Steve Mills and Jeff Hornacek will address the media on Friday at 2 on MSG Network. Training camp next week.

Because these are the Knicks, and no occasion can be 100% joyous, the big questions will almost certainly involve Derrick Rose’s upcoming rape trial. Phil will be asked — as he should be — how much investigating was done prior to the trade. He’s probably been preparing for this press conference for weeks now, so I expect him to do a whole lot of talking without really saying much, if you know what I mean.
As for the on-court questions, I’d like someone to ask what the team expects to do about their lack of point guard depth. Who do they consider to be the third point guard on the current 15-man roster? Is it Sasha Vujacic? Please, tell me Phil thinks it is Sasha Vujacic.
Do Phil, Mills, and Hornacek expect the Knicks to go into the regular season with this current roster? What would Ron Baker or Chasson Randle have to do to earn a spot on the team? So many questions.
This is your press conference thread. As always, keep the Rose trial-related comments respectful.
