Kristaps Porzingis, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Willy Henangomez make soccer legends look like munchkins

Andrea Pirlo and David represented NYCFC (and the Lollipop Guild)

There are those in this world who believe that soccer is a superior game to basketball. They are entitled to their opinions, of course, but they are wrong.

That being sad, I do not believe Kristaps Porzingis, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Willy Henangomez traveled to Yankee Stadium, home of New York City Football Club, with the intention of making soccer players feel tiny and insignificant — it just kind of worked out that way.

Here we see Kristaps on the pitch before the game, demonstrating to the world that soccer is easy:

Later, Porzingis joined his teammates in meeting up with David Villa, renown for his days with the Spanish national team, during which he helped win a World Cup and scored the most goals in his country’s history.

Unfortunately for Villa, when standing next to the Knicks’ young Euros he looks like the striker for the Lollipop Guild squad:

So cruel of them to give Villa a jersey he can only use as a nightgown. Props to the Spanish-language jokester who dropped this comment:

Here is the trio with Italian footballer Andrea Pirlo, who despite looking like a common hobo in this pic, plays for NYCFC following a tremendous career with A.C. Milan and Juventus:

Personally, I think it’s a sin to visit Yankee Stadium right now to see anyone other than Gary Sanchez, but it’s nice to see these Knickbros hanging out together, making athletes from other sports feel bad about themselves.

Great evening and great W for @NYCFC! Support the city. --- Pirmosios futbolo varžybos NY ir pergalė 4:1:)
