We know the New York Knicks will open their regular season on Oct. 25. We know they will play their first preseason game on Oct. 4. But when will they begin their training camp?

Now we know, courtesy of a team press release:

In preparation for the 2016-17 season, the Knicks will open training camp at MSG Training Center on Sep. 27. The team will then head to the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY for a third consecutive training camp where they will practice at Christl Arena from Sep. 28 through Oct. 1. Further details on the practice schedule will be released at a later date. All practices are closed to the public.

Yep, the Knicks will be heading to West Point for the third straight year. There will be a slight change to the training camp routine, however, as they will hold their first practice at their Tarrytown facility before heading on their little field trip.

As for the annual carnival that is Media Day, it will take place on Monday, Sept. 26. We’re less than three weeks away from watching clips of Knicks practicing! Get hype, people!
