Wow, Knicks. Because they just can’t handle success, New York blew a 17-point lead in about seven minutes of game time between the second and third quarters. The Sixers took a four-point lead midway through the third. The Knicks came back thanks to Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, and led by 10 points late in the fourth, but then they dead-ass fell apart. Joel Embiid banked in a three and hit a few other shots. With seconds remaining, Kristaps Porzingis air-balled a three, the Sixers took the ball down the court, T.J. McConnell nailed a buzzer-beater, and it became yet another embarrassment for the boys in orange and blue.
The first three quarters belonged to Melo, who had 15 in the third, 28 overall.
