Wizards 110, Knicks 103: Scenes from the Doug McDermott scoring spectacle

The New York Knicks finished out their preseason winless, dropping a 110-103 contest to the Washington Wizards. The Knicks played Washington close throughout until the second and third units let Kelly Oubre run buck wild all over them in the final quarter. Good performance, though! Sure, the game was at MSG, and the Wiz were playing without John Wall, but we’ll take what we can get!

When the orange and blue needed buckets, they turned to reserve forward Doug McDermott, a.k.a. Doug McBuckets, a.k.a. Doogie Buckets, M.D. Watch this kid get up!

Oh, and in case you forgot...Doug McD can still hit the 3.

Tim Hardaway was getting himself some buckets as well, as he did (uncontested) thanks to a magnificent pass out of the double-team from Enes Kanter.

Hardaway filled up the stat sheet, scoring 23 points on an efficient 9-15 shooting to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. McDermott, meanwhile, dropped 21 points on 8-12 shooting in only 24 minutes.

Recap to come. Get buckets forever, Doug!
