The new-look New York Knicks played a very old-look Knicks game to start the 2017-18 preseason? Was the defense bad? Indubitably. Were layups missed? You bet your sweet bippy!
The starting lineup of Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Doug McDermott, Ramon Sessions and Kyle O’Quinn held Brooklyn at bay early, but the Nets exploded in the second and third quarters en route to a ________ win.
The Unicorn was back in MSG, turning in a fairly nondescript performance (15 points on 6-14 shooting in 22 minutes) with the occasional highlight move. Have you ever wanted to watch Kristaps shake former Knick Quincy Acy out of his drawers? Who am I kidding...of course you have.

Rookie sensation Frank Ntilikina struggled to find his shot (5 points, 1-7 shooting) but did some slick point-guarding in the first half.

Timmy was not afraid to let it fly in his Knicks return, scoring 17 points on 6-15 shooting, including 5-11 from three. He also grabbed 7 rebounds!

Of course the first huge dunk of the campaign belongs to Dougie McBuckets. Basketball is back, cats and kittens!
Stingy will hit you with the recap later.
