The Westchester Knicks are developing the opposite profile of their older brothers in New York: Whereas the Big Knicks are extremely tough at home and beatable on the road, the W-Knicks are now 0-2 at the Westchester Civic Center and 3-0 away from W-town, following a 92-90 loss to Raptors 905 on Sunday afternoon.
Ah well, at least they lost to the defending G-League champs.
Ron Baker (big Knick): 12 points on 3-7 shooting (2-6 from beyond the arc), 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers, 3 steals.
On the same day the Knicks released Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Ron showed why the organization is so keen on keeping Ramon Sessions as a backup for the injury-prone Jarrett Jack. C’mon Ron, we know you’re not a true point guard, but we saw more from you last season.
Trey Burke (affiliate player): 23 points on 10-16 shooting (2-3 from beyond the arc), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 turnovers, 3 steals.
Damyean Dotson (big Knick): 19 points on 7-15 shooting (4-8 from beyond the arc), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers
They didn’t produce a Dame Dotson highlight video, so here’s some footage of his 14-point game against the Kings.
Let’s get back to them winning ways, Westchester!
