The Westchester Knicks lost their third game in a row Tuesday, 112-109 against Raptors 905. At least all three losses have been tightly contested. The W-Knicks are now at .500 after winning their first three games of the season.
Luke Kornet (two-way contract): 24 points (9-18 shooting, 5-12 from beyond the arc), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks.
Kornet did most of his damage in the first half for the W-Knicks, scoring 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including 4-for-7 from downtown. By the way, I’m totally down with 7-footers shooting 12 three-point attempts per game. Let ‘em fly, Big Luke.
Trey Burke (affiliate player): 24 points on 8-16 shooting (4-7 from beyond the arc), 4 assists
Xavier Rathan-Mayes (affiliate player): 12 points (5-12 shooting, 2-4 from beyond the arc), 8 rebounds, 14 assists, 4 steals
Rathan-Mayes hasn’t been very consistent this season, but the dude can fill out a stat sheet when he’s going right.
Nigel Hayes (affiliate player): 20 points on 8-12 shooting (2-4 from beyond the arc), 5 rebounds, 3 steals
Let’s get back to those winning ways, W-Knicks.
