The New York Knicks aren’t good on the road, and they’re not good when Kristaps Porzingis isn’t playing like a superhuman. Both of those factors combined to bite the ‘Bockers in the ass Friday night, as they traveled to Toronto and got stomped by the Raptors,
The Unicorn was an ordinary horse Friday, shooting 3-13 as the sack of sadness that is his injured elbow continues to grow. Not sure how long he can—or should—go before getting that sucker drained.
The Raptors’ offense was so hot that Jeff Hornacek did the whole “I need defense; better get Lance Thomas into the game” thing earlier than he usually does. And it worked to a certain extent.

Frank Ntilikina only managed one assist on the night, but it was pretty.

Tim Hardaway Jr. had a decent game, with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Otherwise this game kinda sucked. I really, really wish Kristaps’ elbow would heal up on its own. That’s not going to happen, though, which means this might become par for the course with these Knicks.
Recap to come.
