Second win in a row for the W-Knicks.

The Westchester Knicks won their second game in a row Sunday, coming back to defeat to Lakeland Magic, 106-100. Lakeland came out hot early, leading by 10 points in the first half, but the W-Knicks took control of a close game in the second half.

Damyean Dotson (big Knick): 23 points on 9-15 shooting (3-5 from beyond the arc), 6 rebounds, 3 assists

I’d like to go on the record as saying that I kinda hope Damyean Dotson starts in place of Tim Hardaway Jr. if the latter cannot play Monday night due to his foot injury. Jeff Hornacek has that coach habit of starting random non-rotation dudes so he keeps his reserve units together (i.e. starting Michael Beasley for Kristaps Porzingis against the Magic), and if he goes that route Dotson is the best option.

Trey Burke (affiliate player): 27 points on 9-19 shooting (1-3 from beyond the arc), 4 rebounds, 9 assists

Isaiah Hicks (two-way contract): 16 points on 7-8 shooting, 8 rebounds, 4 assists

Oooh...I like seeing the assists from the big man!

The W-Knicks are now 5-3 on the season and Damyean Dotson has already been called back up to the big club. Let’s go big Knicks!
