Friday in Toronto, the Knicks played their worst game of the young season. Tonight they bounced back with an across-the-board success, crushing the Los Angeles Clippers 107-85.
Both teams got off to hot starts. Fun with fractions: the Knicks went the first quarter of the first quarter without missing a shot, and the Clippers spent the first third of the first quarter perfect from the field. Fun with chaos: they both started missing shots and turning it over. A lot. This was a running theme throughout the half, when New York had 14 turnovers and Los Angeles 15. Fun with moving images:

After falling behind by eight, the Knicks roared back to a 12-point lead at the half. The good vibes extended to the intermission entertainment.

The Knicks went up 17 early in the third and then the Clippers cut it to 2 and then the Knicks had a 20-point lead because life is just but only sometimes good. This is good.

Earlier this year the Knicks defeated Cleveland, snapping a 10-game losing streak against the Cavs. Tonight the Knicks snapped another 10-game losing streak, this one against the Clippers. Ten years is a long time. How long?
