The Westchester Knicks won their fourth consecutive game on Monday, beating the Windy City Bulls 104-95. The game was notable for an appearance by big Knick Ron Baker, but the be-coiffed one continued to struggle, managing only 9 points and zero assists in 37 minutes.
Isaiah Hicks (two-way contract): 32 points on 14-16 shooting, 9 rebounds
It’s hard to get more efficient than 14-16 from the floor, though it should be noted that many of Hicks’ point-blank looks were set up by teammates, including a couple from my latest Westchester muse.
Luke Kornet (two-way contract): 17 points on 7-14 shooting (3-8 from three), 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks
Did you see some of the passes in Hicks’ highlight video? I mentioned it in my recent “Screw it; play Kornet” piece, but the dude can pass.
Trey Burke (affiliate player): 29 points on 12-22 shooting (3-6 from three), 2 rebounds, 9 assists
Trey Burke is no Luke Kornet when it comes to dishing the rock, but he does aight.
The W-Knicks are now 7-3 on the season. Unless I’m tripping, I believe they’;; play next at 11:00 AM Wednesday morning.
