If you felt that Kristaps Porzingis was the best player in the Eastern Conference last week then congratulations, because the rest of the NBA agrees with you! Our young Unicorn has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week!
The Week 3 #NBA Players of the Week!

Kristaps averaged a preposterous 33.5 points on 54.4% shooting, 6.8 rebounds and 3.3 blocks over four games as his Knicks compiled a 3-1 record. Coincidentally enough, their one loss was against Western Conference Player of the Week James Harden and the Houston Rockets.
Porzingis becomes the first Knick to win Player of the Week since...I’m just gonna guess Carmelo Anthony. It’s gotta be him, right? This is the first overall player of the week award for Porzingis, which is a little bit hard to believe, but whatever. There are some good players in this league! Kristaps just happens to be better than them at the moment. I have certainly enjoyed this trend, and hope it continues.
