It had been awhile—one game, in fact—but Michael Beasley finally made it back to Madison Square Garden after a brief Thursday night sojourn to Brooklyn. And the man known as SuperCool Beas (God’s Son) did not disappoint his legion of fan’s, dropping 30 points (on an ultra-efficient 11-18 shooting) to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists (!!!) to lead the Knicks to a 111-96 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night.

Oh, and Carmelo Anthony was there as well. Melo didn’t fare nearly as well, getting shut out in the second half en route to a 12-point performance. Tough break for the other player from what is now known as the Doug McDermott Trade. Dougie McBucketts outscored Melo on the night, 13-12.

Ron Baker (11 points on 4-5 shooting, 2 assists, 2 steals) was phenomenal. Courtney Lee (20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals) was his usual awesome self. Dude has been so key this season.
I should also probably mention that Kristaps Porzingis didn’t play in this one. Yep, the Knicks beat Melo, Paul George and Russell Westbrook, and they did it without the Unicorn. This team, y’all. This team.
Recap to come.
