The Westchester Knicks returned home following a long West Coast road trip and put a hurting on the Salt Lake City Stars, 98-83. You gotta love the defensive effort, holding SLC well below 90 points.
Leading the charge as always was guard Trey Burke. The Michigan alum dropped 28 points on the Stars in celebration of his second consecutive G-League Player of the Week award.

Those 28 points were almost 6 below last week’s average. You’re slacking, Mr. Burke.
Trey Burke (affiliate player): 28 points on 10-20 shooting (3-7 from three), 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals
While we’re at it, let’s check out some highlights from Burke’s award-winning week.
Buckets.
Isaiah Hicks (two-way contract): 12 points on 5-8 shooting, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks
The W-Knicks are now 14-6 on the season. They are 1.5 games up on the 11-6 Long Island Nets for the lead in the Atlantic Division. It’s good to be in first!
