The Westchester Knicks snapped a rare losing streak by defeating the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 129-116, on Tuesday evening. The game was close throughout, with Westchester only pulling away in the final minute.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes (affiliate player): 33 points on 13-21 shooting (3-6 from three). 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals

That’s a career-high 33 points for Rathan-Mayes, who is often overshadowed by his backcourt mate, Trey Burke. (That’s not a knock on Rathan-Mayes—Burke has been just that damn good.)

Rathan-Mayes also swiped 5 basketball steals, a fact which warranted its own special highlight video!

Trey Burke (affiliate player): 28 points on 8-20 shooting (3-7 from three), 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals

Only 28 points for Burke. Slacker.

Luke Kornet (two-way contract): 16 points on 6-8 shooting (0-1 from three), 8 rebounds, 7 assists

No highlight package for Uncle Luke, which is a damn shame. I’ve been harping on Kornet and the W-Knicks’ recent three-point outbursts, so I was shocked to see him take one attempt from beyond the arc. But look at those assist numbers! I’m telling you, the kid can play a little. Too bad the Knicks already have 16 centers.

The W-Knicks are now 15-8 on the season.
