The Knicks hit the Woj-wire this morning with an interesting duo of moves. They waived Brandon Jennings in order to sign pre-season darling, Chasson Randle.

This is exciting. Jennings was only on a one year deal, and this team isn’t exactly going anywhere. This move seems to just give Brandon the opportunity to sign with a playoff-bound, contender-type of team. Randle comes off a quick stint with the 76ers where not too much happened. The kid can shoot the ball, though. Something the Knicks guards tend to really struggle with.
76ers needed Randle's roster spot in Noel trade w/ Dallas, waived him Thursday. He'll sign partial guarantee through 2017-'18, sources say.

Partial guarantee? Maybe they intend to move forward with Randle as their point guard of the future. Now get rid of Derrick Rose one day after the playoff-eligibility deadline and we’ve really got some meat on this bone. The Ron & Randle era is about to be upon us. Let’s hope it’s better than the Andy and Landry era.
