Nets 120, Knicks 112: Scene from a sweet Kristaps Porzingis block (and also a loss)

Yeeeeeeeeeeeah tank!

NBA: New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets Nicole Sweet-USA TODAY Sports

Let’s begin with the most important news of the day: Kristaps Porzingis did this.

And it was totally awesome. Would you like another angle? Sounds good to me.

Kristaps went hog wild on Brooklyn, with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. He also picked up 6 fouls, because we can’t have nice things. As for his teammates, they mostly sucked ass, allowing the Nets to rain down three-pointers like fire and brimstone over Sodom en route to a humiliating 120-112 victory.

Per John Schuhmann, the Nets just ended...

  • a 12-game losing streak vs. the Atlantic Division
  • a 16-game losing streak at home
  • a 20-game losing streak vs. the East.

Tank on, brothers. Tank on.

Lance Thomas had a nice block of Jeremy Lin down the stretch.

Unfortunately that was the only time Lino was stopped in the fourth quarter, as he went off down the stretch. Carmelo Anthony was also fairly hot shooting in the fourth, but it was useless.

Chasson Randle did this.

It is what it is, people. Recap to come.
