76ers 105, Knicks 102: Scenes from a wasted Lance Thomas masterpiece

You don’t deserve Lance, Knicks.

NBA: New York Knicks at Philadelphia 76ers Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Knicks went into Philadelphia and against all odds they pulled out a loss for the tank. Derrick Rose missed two drives late, Carmelo Anthony bricked a horrible iso-Melo jumper and Courtney Lee whiffed on a game-tying three at the buzzer. Strong stuff, guys.

Lance Thomas led the Knicks with 21 points. Yes, that Lance Thomas.

The Lance Renaissance continues apace. Is he the greatest New York athlete ever with the initials LT? I’d have to say yes! (This is a joke.)

Kristaps Porzingis started the game off like butt, picking up two fouls in the first few minutes. He looked headed for another disappointing performance following his 20-point game in Orlando. But the Unicorn broke out of his stable in the third quarter with some tasty shaking and baking.

Derrick Rose started chugging downhill in the second half, making mincemeat of poor T.J. McConnell.

Ron Baker remains the point gawd:

Whatever. Recap to come. I’m going to write mostly about a gyro I just ate.
