This was special, special tanking by the New York Knicks. The ‘Bockers erased a quick 11-point deficit to take a lead into the half, and then built their own lead up to 10 in the third quarter. And then Giannis Antetokounmpo started wrecking shit and the boys in orange and blue tucked themselves into the fetal position and made sure to protect their vital organs. The Knicks scored a combined 37 points in the final two quarters as the Bucks romped to a 104-93 win.
Kristaps Porzingis struggled with his shot, but at least he canned 2 of his 5 three-point attempts.

Willy Hernangomez was an offensive dynamo in the first half, scoring 13 points on a number of beautiful pick-and-roll finishes.

Unfortunately he didn’t make a shot in the second half, as Giannis snatched away his soul on multiple occasions. Willy was bad on defense and eventually fouled out, but at least he was trying to get in front of dudes until the very end. Many of his teammates were not as brave.
Matt R-Dubs will hit you with a recap later. Wait until the West Coast games finish up and then fire up the Tankathon site!
