Happy Draft Day, y’all! The Knicks have a lottery pick this year, so this should be a glorious day for the fans, right?
LOL, nah. We now have to wade through mounds of Kristaps Porzingis trade rumors. Until recently it appeared as if the Knicks were simply answering the phone when other teams called about the Unicorn, which is fine. Alas, it turns out they are more actively shopping their franchise cornerstone to teams higher in the draft.
Per @ramonashelburne: the Knicks have talked to each team in top-5 of the draft about a Kristaps Porzingis deal: https://t.co/i6VQrFPbIX

Oh, and they also to Oklahoma City, because...well, I have no friggin’ idea. Maybe he loves Enes Kanter’s footwork that much.
So why is the front office so determined to jump up in the draft? Because they are interested in Kansas forward Josh Jackson.
One name of strong interest for Knicks and Bulls is Josh Jackson https://t.co/YUQ7kgjfeC

Jackson has a history of harassing women, which is a common trait with this organization. At least he hasn’t blown off any meetings that we know of!
The Phoenix Suns would seem like the most logical destination (Assuming Jackson falls to No. 4, I guess? Nothing about this is logical). So far, nothing has come to fruition.
Sources: So far, Knicks and Suns are without traction on a Kristaps Porzingis trade. Knicks will not get Devin Booker as part of any deal.

Kristaps > Booker. That is all.
And that’s all we have for this morning...SIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE, here’s Charley Rosen pulling up from behind with the triangle-approved hot fire!
Right on time, here is the Charley Rosen hit piece on Kristaps https://t.co/nBni4NA6UW

He routinely gets bullied at every turning.
Despite his size, KP is relatively ineffective when playing the low post.
He’s apt to get faked off his feet by smaller players in the paint.
But his general attitude is the most troubling.
KP and his brother have often complained about how poorly the Knicks treat their players. This undoubtedly has to do with the negative relationship that exists between Jackson and Carmelo Anthony. For sure, Melo’s in-house dissatisfactions have unduly influenced Porzingis.
Have a good day, my brothers and sisters.
