Marshall Plumlee plays pickup game with lesser NBA stars (Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, etc.)

NBA personal trainer extraordinaire Chris Brickley sent jonesing NBA fans into a tizzy Tuesday when he released clips of a pickup game featuring a laundry list of NBA stars.

OK, let’s start with the obvious: Yes, that is former (and maybe future) Knicks center Marshall Plumlee battling Enes Kanter down low and very conspicuously boxing out. But who are the other guys? Apparently LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Plumlee teammate Carmelo Anthony were also involved. Good for them!

Melo played with the hoodie down, which means he’s either taking the game more seriously or less seriously. I honestly have no idea at this point.

In terms of current Knicks, you can see Lance Thomas trying (and failing) to stop Durant. Kudos to Lance for playing while rocking the gold chains. Former Knicks include J.R. Smith and his brother Chris. The Knicks haven’t made the playoffs since the season before they gave Chris Smith an NBA roster spot. It makes you think.
