One of the greatest interviews in Knicks history.

Brothers and sisters, whatever thing you are doing right now, please stop doing that thing. Knicks forward Michael Beasley is about to open your third eye.

“Your favorite player’s favorite player” has quickly become a fan favorite around these parts in the few days since he arrived in New York. But you ain’t seen nothing yet, folks. Beasley sat down with SNY’s Taylor Rooks for an interview, and...well...

“If you’re only using 10% of your brain, then you don’t even know you’re using 10% of your brain.”

And this was the moment that Michael Beasley proved to the world that the first person to discover that humans only use 10% of our brains was, in fact, using 11% of his brain at the time.

I’ll give you a moment to process all of this.

Ready to continue? Not only did Beas solve the mysteries of the human brain, he also continued to challenge the conventional rules of fashion. He once wore a burgundy dress from Zara because he was inspired by the rapper Young Thug. And his now-famous ankle watch is all about balance...so please don’t take it from him.

“I’m just finding a new balance…It’s the new catchphrase. I don’t have swag. I don’t have feng shui. I’m not cool. I’m just balanced…If you see anyone with a watch on their leg, they took my balance.”

Here is the full interview, which I cannot recommend highly enough. I only have one question left: Which category of Nobel Prize should Beasley win?
