Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina met New York’s other tall rookie sensation, Aaron Judge

How do you say “All Rise” in French?

The New York Yankees have been absolutely dreadful in series finales for the past two months, and Sunday night they were facing Cy Young award favorite Chris Sale. Fortunately, the Bronx Bombers had an ace in the hole.

His name is Frank Ntilikina, a.k.a. Frank Nicotine, a.k.a. Frank Nitti, a.k.a. Ntillmatic. The Knicks’ first-round pick met with the biggest rookie—both literally and figuratively—in the city at the moment, Aaron Judge.

If you were doubting Ntilikina’s height—Judge is one of the tallest hitters in Major League history at 6’7”, and he has maybe one inch on the Knicks’ new point guard.

Ntilikina spoke briefly to some reporters about his time working out with Carmelo Anthony and various other Knicks (Lance Thomas, Tim Hardaway and Chasson Randle, for example) under the tutelage of Melo’s longtime trainer, Chris Brickley.

Whatever. That Melo stuff is boring.

Frank also said he has been watching baseball since arriving in New York, and that his favorite team is the Yankees. Sorry, Mets fans. In all fairness, though, if a kid moved to New York this summer and made a conscious decision to follow the Mets, you’d have to worry about his emotional/psychological state.

Frank appears to have the magic touch, as Judge homered for the first time in several weeks in a 9-2 Yankees win.

Frank was pleased with his new friend.

As a Yankees/Knicks fan, this makes me very happy.
