Knicks 115, Nets 96: Scenes from a very, very fun game

So many good things all at once!

NBA: Brooklyn Nets at New York Knicks Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Whether you’re Team Tank or Team Win, that was a hell of an entertaining game.

Where to even begin... The Knicks went down a little early (still quite the trend so far this year) but then they stormed back to tie the game after one quarter and absolutely annihilated the Nets for three straight quarters after, winning 115-96.

Picking the best Knick from this game is like trying to pick the best candy bar — there’s countless acceptable answers. (Topical pre-Halloween reference? Check.) But for my money, Milky Way Midnight is the best candy bar, and tonight’s Milky Way Midnight was Headband Mitchell Robinson:

The big rook had 11 points on 5-5 shooting, three boards, one steal and one block on the night. Clearly the training sessions with Sheed are paying dividends quickly!

Frank Ntilikina continued his hot play, with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists. He hit 3-of-5 shots from downtown too:

Tim Hardaway Jr. also put up another banner day, pouring on 25 points and a career-high-tying eight dimes. He’s been prettay good so far this year, huh?

Some other solid performances:

Allonzo Trier: 12 points on 5-7 shooting, five boards. One demoralizing garbage time stuff:

Mario Hezonja: 11 points in 20 minutes

Emmanuel Mudiay: 2 garbage time minutes total

Damyean Dotson: 10 points and a team-leading +21

Enes Kanter: 15 points, 15 boards, and approximately 50 missed defensive rotations off the bench

Oh, and Noah Vonleh had my second-favorite play of the night:
