What’s up my dudes and dudettes?!
I’m sure you guys are just as excited about this undefeated preseason as I am, and want to shove as much Knicks coverage into your eyeballs as possible right now. So let’s do that!
Can you kick it? Yes you can:
Optimism is a helluva drug... heheheh
— If you needed another reason to like David Fizdale, he is now the first coach in recent memory to FINALLY tap into the wealth of knowledge of the last point guard to win a championship for New York — Walt “Clyde” Frazier.
— Steve Popper at Newsday tries to figure out what role Frank Ntilikina will occupy this season.
— Josh Benjamin at Elite Sports NY tries to figure out if Allonzo Trier is a real-deal prospect, or just a preseason superstar.
— Kevin Durant might be into signing with the Knicks next summer? And Kyrie Irving, if you believe him, says he wants to remain a Celtic for the foreseeable future, but he did once say the same thing about Cleveland and asked to be traded literally weeks later.
— James Dolan and Madison Square Garden have taken the next steps to spin the Knicks and Rangers off from the Madison Square Garden Company. I promise you that this does not mean Dolan is getting ready to sell the team, and will almost certainly make him more money.
— Marc Berman of the NY Post wonders if the emergence of players like Trier could be costing Courtney Lee his rotation spot.
That’s all for today, folks! More to come soon.
