Game of the season? The New York Knicks will play like 60 more games in 2018-19, but I seriously doubt they will top the magnificence we witnessed Wednesday night in Boston. The young ‘Bockers played their hearts out, staking themselves to an early 26-point lead and then successfully parrying a few Celtics runs. But these are the green devil Celtics who haunt the nightmares of New York children, and they came back riding an avalanche of threes and free-throws, until they trailed by just 3 with under a minute remaining.
And then...Trey Burke.

The diminutive Knicks guard played one of the best games of his career, dropping 29 points, 11 assists and 6 rebounds on the league’s No. 1 D, but mere numbers cannot capture the rapturous moment of him drilling the dagger three in Jason Tatum’s face.
All in all, it was a tremendous night for the youngsters. Kevin Knox dropped 11 efficient points on 3-5 shooting to go along with 9 rebounds. That jumper was wet.
