The Milwaukee Bucks (22-10) slide in to the Garden of Madison Square for a tete-a-tete with the New York Knicks (9-25) today. It’s a clash of the East’s second best against the second worst. New York is, more often than not, a loser on December 25th’s. Their record is 22-29 all time, good for 43%. Can you hear those slay bells? Get the dramamine ready.
Speaking of drama- let’s get down to the brassiest tacks. Milwaukee’s twitter account deleted a tweet that will be incredibly annoying in 2 seasons when Giannis Antetokounmpo will gear up for free agency and all you can read about is the speculation that the Knicks are making a play to get him. Oh it’s gonna be endless. I hate it. There’s already blood in the water, the deer are in the headlights, we all have lyme disease and what have you.

They later decided to pick up their hooves and lay the groundwork for that nuisance.

Key Matchup
This whole Giannis stuff is especially annoying because the guy jumped over Tim Hardaway to oop an alley, he canned a game-winner over Lance Thomas and he unintentionally helped injure our dear, sweet Kristaps Porzingis.
But then the odd begonia, Mario Hezonja, deliberately disrespected the once deleted King of NY.
Giannis has a bad habit of trying to block Knick dunkers that have already punched it. What’s that about? Speaking of punching it:
Going for the begonias, are we? Who cares about the game. Give me the game within the game. If David Fizdale wants to be the coach when the Knicks win a championship he has to start by giving us a huge helping of Hezonja versus Antetokounmpo.
Hezonja only played 12 minutes that fateful December 1st night. On top of that he’s only been averaging a meager 11.2’ since being demoted from the starting lineup, including a paltry 3:47 in their last game against Philadelphia.
There is only one path, David! Do you hear me?! Iso Hezonja on Antetokounmpo for five consecutive trips down the floor or be a loser in the hearts of New Yorkers.
Prediction
Hezonja and Antetokounmpo will face up on one possession but it will result in a swing pass.
Knicks by -25.
