Emmanuel Mudiay has arrived in New York.
Looks like Mudiay will join a long list of Knicks point guards rocking #1, many short-lived

The last Knicks mid-season trade was the legendary Alexey Shved. I don’t know if Mudiay is fully prepared for the awesome legacy he’s about the carry on his shoulders.
Mudiay is expected to play Sunday when the Knicks take on the Pacers. Jeff Hornacek even implied that—gasp!—Jarrett Jack’s minutes could go down!
Jeff Hornacek says Emmanuel Mudiay is expected to play tomorrow vs. Indy. When asked about it, he suggests Jarrett Jack’s minutes will decrease going forward with Mudiay, Frank Ntilikina and Trey Burke in the mix.

File this one under “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Meanwhile, Enes Kanter talked to reporters about our fallen hero, Kristaps Porzingis, whose knee surgery is set for Tuesday, according to Ian Begley.

Kanter, who can opt out of the final year of his deal this summer, also stated that Kristaps’ injury has not altered his feelings about staying with New York:
“No, why would it? I like this place, man. It’s weird because people are scared to come to New York because they think it’s like, ‘Oh, New York is scary.’ But I think this organization is good.”
Say you what you will about Kanter, but the guy clearly isn’t putting up a front about his love for New York.
Now who’s excited to watch Mudiay tomorrow??? Hopefully Hornacek plays him.
