Wizards 118, Knicks 113: The tank blows right through an eruption of Mt. Hardaway

Kinda a perfect game if you think about it

Look, tonight was embarrassing. No doubt. The Knicks held a 27-point lead at one point behind Tim Hardaway Jr.’s 32 first-half points, but then (as Mike Breen mentioned a zillion times) blew the biggest lead in recorded franchise history to lose by five. The Knicks!

But hey, let’s bask in the spoils of a first half victory, and bathe in the cleansing waters of being one loss closer to Luka Doncic. It’s kinda like getting a gratifying win and a much-needed loss all packaged in one!

But yeah, then they lost. To which I say, so what? Eighth in the tank standings is within shouting distance! Life’s good right now considering the Knicks are objectively going nowhere the rest of this year.
