Folks, how can you not be excited for Kevin Knox — aka Knox-turn’al, aka Nasty Knox in your area — after this debut performance. The Knicks rookie caused mass hysteria in the area around Las Vegas and various social media circles with is 22-point performance in a victory against the Canal Street Hawks. Knox also grabbed eight rebounds, got to line eight times, and had two assists.

This was Knox’s first basket as a professional:

And he’s hitting the deck hard:

I mean, how can you not love this kid?! You can watch the full highlights here, which I strongly recommend you do.

So, how did Atlanta’s rookie do? Well, let’s just say that French Sinatra put the clamps on him a few times:

To be fair to Young, he did have some pretty nifty passes this game:

And let’s not forget about New York’s other rookie, Mitchell Robinson, who had 4 blocks in his professional debut, including this monster one:

Atlanta’s John Collins did have an impressive 30-point performance in the loss. He was testy with Robinson a number of times and wasn’t afraid to throw down the hammer:

In all, it was a rather entertaining game. I’ll be recapping the game in more detail, so stay tuned for that later. Otherwise, THE KNICKS ARE UNDEFEATED!
