The Knicks have released their 2018-19 preseason schedule

PRESEASON.

Hey, friends. This Summer League stuff is fun, but would you like to see even more meaningless games, but with a fun veterans sprinkled in? Well you’re in luck, because the Knicks have just released their 2018-19 preseason schedule.

It has everything you’d expect from a Knicks preseason slate. Games against the Nets and Wizards? Check. One random-ass game against a Western Conference team? Check. (They had been playing the Rockets the past few years; now it’s the Pelicans.)

Speaking of the Pelicans, they will be the foil for the Madison Square Garden debut of Knicks’ super-rookie Kevin Knox, on October 5. The Knicks start off with two road games—at Washington and at Brooklyn, if you can even consider that a road game—then finish up with three home contests against the Pelicans, Wizards and Nets).

I’m totally, irrationally hyped for these preseason games. More Knox! More Mitchell Robinson! More Emmanuel Mudiay! OK, so maybe not that last part...but certainly more Knox and Robinson. Let’s goooo.
