Wizards 101, Knicks 100: Scenes from some elite tanking in London, mate

11 points in the fourth quarter!

NBA: New York Knicks at Washington Wizards Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Knicks lost today. On a goaltend. After blowing a 19-point lead in the second half and scoring just 11 points in the fourth quarter. Look no further — this was the Knicksiest game of the entire year.

Right rubbish, innit? Made me want to honk all over the bloody place, it did.

The Knicks came out BLAZING hot to start the game, led by London tourist extraordinaire Luke Kornet. Big Shin had 12 points on four 3-pointers in the first period.

Emmanuel Mudiay also had a hell of a game, including a couple slamma-jammas on his way to a team-high 25 points:

Mitchell Robinson also made a positively glorious return in London Town. Won’t wow you on the box score with his four-point, two-rebound, one-block performance, but he made a couple of those trademark Big Meetch plays that this team has been missing and looked bouncy throughout:

Oh hey, HBD Iso Zo! I didn’t get you anything, unless you count the time I stole watching this game at work today. Trier and Damyean Dotson had matching 13-point performances on 5-8 from the field.

If you couldn’t get away from work for this one... Just do yourself a favor and only watch the first three quarters. The 11-point fourth quarter was an absolute horror show.

MMiranda will have your recap in a little bit. Pip pip, cheerio!
